Born in Port Elizabeth, Ronél moved to Bloemfontein in 2009. While she has no formal art qualification she cannot describe herself without referring to art. She uses art and writing as a means to help make sense of life and as a form of expression.
Topically Ronél’s work tends to focus on human nature and the diversity of human experiences. She’s been experimenting with different mediums over the last couple of years and is particularly fond of working with mixed media.
