'Expiration of my environment' is the suggestion of my own idiosyncratic environment that I see around myself.  Emphasis is placed on landfills in Bloemfontein, especially the northern landfill that has burned on and off during the last month.  This is an unpleasant experience as our residence is in tits vicinity.  The artwork suggest municipal services slowly diminishing while we are left with a dirty environment. 

The various marks and textures made suggests a flow of movement that is continuously being built up by new imaginary textures and marks which suggests the continuous accumulation of waste.  Emphasis is also placed on the stimulation of the viewer and their senses of touching, seeing and smelling their environment.  This suggests an imaginary effect for the viewer of how they envision and experience their environments and landfills.
