There are so many things I would like to write about this drawing. I would like to mention the women who suffered whether publicly known or not. I would have liked to explain the meaning behind every pre-Raphaelite blommetjie…but now the image exists and so it belongs to all, now each viewer is responsible for its meaning.  

We live in a blameless age where horrific content can easily be shared via social media, without remorse. This image is my form of recognising the responsibility we have, that I have.
