Description:
This artwork is about not knowing where you are going.  The artwork simply depicts a shark not fitting into its environment. The shark doesn't look rushed or disturbed; it is simply going about his day. We, as people, do not like the shark in an unfamiliar environment, we are scared of what the shark may or may not do. The shark can attack us, or simply live life as it is. But people, want things to make sense, and if our expectations are not met, we get angry, frustrated, or even scared but it’s because people are scared of the unknown.

We all want life to make sense and live by rules, limits, and guidelines. But sometimes, we need to break free from society and find our own greener grass. This artwork is about finding the place where you feel safe and can openly express yourself. The shark represents both me and you, trying to find that place we can call home, the place where we can grow and show.

The house in the background symbolizes finding your safe place.   In order to find your home, we must move forward, just like a shark, if you move backwards, you can't breathe.
If you move forward, you can grow and evolve, just like the grass.

"The grass is greener on the other side" has its own meaning. Some say it's fake because it appears greener, while others say it's greener because it's not that good where they currently are. Whatever the case may be, it is all about moving forward and finding your safe place.
