Description:
I believe that struggles, pain, difficulties or even hurdles are meant to shape us, sharpen us and build our character as individuals as the famous saying goes " Iron sharpens Iron". I am of the view that we need to have a different approach when it comes to unfavourable circumstances, We need to welcome struggles or even pain with the mindset of learning from them. Hence the title " Hasiba sabi, Siya bafuna", which loosely translates to " We are not afraid of them, We want them". Hard times are inevitable but our perspective is not.

This drawing is a metaphorical piece about growth. What you see is a young man but with enough life challenges, He will grow to become a  Man/Leader with great wisdom to lead. Looking closely at the artwork you may notice the scaring which is slowly starting to spread on his face which is a symbol of allowing hardships to harden you instead of shaping you.

Everyone's path is different but we are all predestined for greatness, It's just a matter of how we choose to look at the situation. Never be scared of the pressures of the world, The most valuable things in the world are forged from the most extreme pressures.
