In his art he previously explored the impact of facial detection application on society. His recent inquiries into the infinity of our universe and the infinity of black holes inspired him to find patterns in unusual places in an attempt to unlock new meaning. Leon is currently working on scientific images. How they are made and how they are perceived by society. His artworks have been included in the final selection for the Phatshoane Henney New Breed Art, the PPC Imaginarium and the SASOL New Signature competitions.
