In this work I decided to explore the imagination and memories of the so called "childhood fears" - specifically that of my 11 year old brother who was diagnosed with Aspergers' syndrome a year ago. Not only does this make him extremely intelligent as well as generally hard to understand from an outer perspective, but entails the constant creation of figures in his head which leads him to have night terrors etc. 

Along with this I try to incorporate my own childhood experiences with the severe fear of figures created from a child’s point of view and an excessively cluttered imagination. Through this I find myself searching for similarities in his present and my past and to eventually encourage him to use this to make greater things, as I am currently trying to do.  Unlike many of my other works, "Bedtime" in particular extends to an unusually personal concept.
