This story will elaborate more on how dreams are important to us. One widely held theory about the purpose of dreams is that they help you store important memories and things you have learned get rid of unimportant memories, and sort through complicated thoughts and feelings. Our dreams are often about identity, because we are figuring out who we are and what we need, and the beliefs and perspectives we hold. If you feel unfulfilled, undervalued or not the person you want to be in walking life, your dreams will often reflect that.
