Description:
My subjective experience and spiritual perceptions through the senses of existence's ineffable qualities find expression in my passion for music and art.

In the innermost of my being emotions oscillate between joy and agony, abundance and deprivation, alienation and belonging, disappointment and content, victory and failure and melt into a symphony of life pursuing harmony between body, mind and spirit.

The sound of silence and harmony is white (Kandinsky), representing all colours in equilibrium.

In these works I created imaginative music in white, expressing an inner life of feelings and meandering pathways associated with the botanical rhizome's way of growing in its hidden, subterranean environment - continuously searching for new pathways through the darkness of the earth, to the light and life.

These artworks are created from found correx board that became brittle and cracked into multiple pathways from withering in the sun and rain for several years, which reminds me of the passing of time and the briefness of life.

The small square holes that resulted from decay changes the boards into imaginative pianola music sheets.

The symbols in oil paint vary in thickness and precision which plays on the fickleness of emotions.

Innere klänge #1: Fantasia in c# minor - Reverie (Gratissimo erro - a most delightful reverie of the mind)

With the recollection of my childhood memories and the impression trains made on me, I imagine hearing soft soothing sounds of nature and machine in the secrets of my soul, sounds of belonging that lift me up and give me strength for today, and dreams for the future.

Innere klänge #2: Requiem (Moriendo vivo: i dying I live)

The discords of pain and suffering long to resolve but are deviously side-tracked along dark alleys before the sound of harmonious silence are discovered, unexpectedly and peacefully.
