Comrades, Listen is a digital composite of the 36 faces of the ANC cabinet in June 2018.  The images used in the composite are screenshots of members of the cabinet talking in parliament.  The haunting final image is a visualisation of the often chaotic environment of a parliament.  All parliaments throughout the world can be chaotic at times.  The title refers to a quote very often heard in such a situation and comments on the difficulties often experienced in getting one’s message across with constant interruption and heightened emotional tensions, specifically in a political setting.
