Description:

In my work, Terrible lizard, I attempt to awaken the extinct idea of the dinosaur and display it in my own fragmented way, asking why we still find the terrible lizards of the past so fascinating.

The word "dinosaur" is commonly used to describe anything that is impractically large, obsolete, or bound for extinction. By human standards, dinosaurs were creatures of fantastic appearance and often enormous size. As such, they have captured the popular imagination and became an enduring part of human culture, featuring in films, literature and as numerous toys.

The image of the dinosaur is displayed almost everywhere, from advertisements to cartoons and in every natural history museum as scientific illustrations. In recent art, many museum elements have moved to the gallery space, but as for the image of the dinosaur, it is transformed to kitsch. This is my first stumbling steps to finding the answers to reptilian curiosities.
