Adam Truscott was born in Zimbabwe in 1967 where he studied graphic design with an emphasis on illustration and fine art.
He moved to South Africa in 1988 where he took up full-time employment in the art department of AC&R Advertising. In 1991 Adam travelled abroad where he worked as an illustrator to advertising agencies and publishing houses in the United States, Botswana and France. Returning to South Africa in 1995, he has been working as an independent illustrator to advertising agencies, publishing houses and companies specialising in internal, corporate communication ever since. Adam makes art in-between corporate assignments.
He lives with his wife and three children in Harrismith.
